Meet the cast:


Amy Jo Johnson

Amy Jo Johnson is on the mark in her starring role as SRU negotiator Jules Callaghan in the hit series FLASHPOINT. She has also made her mark with television audiences for her roles as a champion jockey in ABC Family’s WILDFIRE, a rookie cop in the Lifetime drama series THE DIVISION, and, previously, for her role as a series regular on the WB hit show FELICITY.

Other television appearances include the Hallmark Channel movie Hard Ground, with Burt Reynolds and Bruce Dern, and guest starring roles on SPIN CITY, ER, and WHAT ABOUT BRIAN. She has completed filming on the independent films Islander, Veritas, and Fatal Trust.

Equally passionate about music as she is about film, Amy Jo has released two albums, The Trans-American Treatment and Imperfect – both available on her official music website amyjojohnson.com. She has earned rave reviews for her performances in Los Angeles and New York. "Dancing In-between" and  "Goodbye",
two of her original songs, are part of the Flashpoint soundtrack.

Another of Amy Jo’s passions is children. She has made frequent trips in the past to Croatia and Bosnia as a volunteer with Global Children's Organization. She currently lives in Canada with her husband, daughter, and their Portuguese water dog Archie.

She will play Amelia in the short film BENT.



Sonya Salomaa 

She was born in Sudbury, Ontario. Salomaa grew up in Prince George, British Columbia and attended the University of Northern British Columbia to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. In her last summer break, she went to Victoria to sing and play the guitar. While in Victoria she became interested in acting.

Salomaa, a Finnish Canadian, first appeared on screen in 2000. In 2005 she took over the role of Maya Kandinski from Carly Pope in the Canadian supernatural drama series, The Collector. She won Leo Awards two years running for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. 

This was followed by a season in Durham County (2007) and received a Leo nomination for her role as Traci Prager. In 2008, Salomaa again took over a role, this time from Claudette Mink, of the character Laura Nelson, a member of the coast guard in The Guard. She has also guest starred in several TV shows including Supernatural, Covert Affairs and Flashpoint as Greg's girlfriend Marina. 

She will play Jockei in the short film BENT.



Michael Cram

Michael Cram has worked in television and film for over 15 years, having lived and worked in both Toronto and Vancouver. He graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa with a degree in economics, and studied theatre at The Centre for Actor’s Study in Toronto.

A few years into his career, he landed a small role in Tommy Boy. Shortly thereafter, roles followed in features such as Heartstopper, Rub and Tug and Devil’s Mercy opposite Stephan Rea. Cram’s television roles include appearances on Lifetime’s GIRL’S BEST FRIEND with Janeane Garofalo, MISSING, THE X-FILES, MILLENNIUM, as well as guest appearances on THE ELEVENTH HOUR.

Most recently, Cram appeared on the big screen in the indie hit, Defendor as well as in Repo Men with Jude Law.  Also a musician, Cram sang and played guitar for the recently defunct band Redchair. He is currently working on a documentary film about his love of music, when time allows. Cram grew up in Ottawa.


He will play Mitch in the short film BENT.



Ingrid Kavelaars

Ingrid was Miss Teen London in 1987, and she was first runner up for Miss Teen Canada 1987. She moved to New York City from London, Ontario at the age of 19 to pursue a career as an actress. She has mostly done work on television shows like her recurring role on the the Sci-Fi Drama JEREMIAH. She was also in three episodes in STARGATE SG-1 between 2003-2004.

In 2006, she had a main character in a Canadian television series called WHISTLER and she returned for the second season in 2007. Other television appearances include her role on the crime drama MURDOCH MYSTERIES, as well as guest appearances on REGENESIS, V and LOST GIRL.

Since 2010 Ingrid has played the Character Lori Unger in the HBO Canada Television show LIVING IN YOUR CAR.

She will play Jane in the short film BENT.
